With reference to your letter of the 1st July lust No. C.R.5.5.15095 (A) regarding a refund to the Reverend C.E.Swinnerton of the expenses incurred by him in proceeding from Hongkong to the United Kingdom, I am directed to acquaint you that his case is not covered by the terms of Army Order 275/1918 in as much as he did not embark from Hongkong until July, 1-10, and it is regretted that a refund

cannot be sanctioned.
